Meet The Team

Cory is a Principal in our Alton office and has been working in public accounting since 1995. He first joined Scheffel Boyle in 2000 and is a leader of our tax department. His client specialties include tax planning, preparation, and advisory services for a variety of businesses, as well as individuals. Cory is a valuable member of the Tax Team and provides annual in-house training and continuing education for his coworkers at Scheffel Boyle.

Cory grew up in Alton and currently lives in Godfrey with his wife, Julie, and their two young sons. In addition to his work at Scheffel Boyle, he is very active in the local community, serving as the Treasurer for the East Alton Rotary Club and volunteering his time for the Riverbend Growth Association, among other organizations. In fact, Cory was recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow through Rotary for his many contributions to the organization.

Cory enjoys the challenge and dynamic atmosphere in public accounting. He thrives with the variety of both work and clients he assists each day. In his spare time outside of tax season, Cory enjoys toning his golf skills and running.
