Meet The Team

Robyn is a Principal in Scheffel Boyle’s Alton office and has been with the firm since 2003. She has been working in public accounting since 1997 and specializes in Audit and Assurance services for a variety of businesses, governmental agencies, and non-profit entities. In fact, Robyn is a valuable member of the A&A Quality Control Team and is also responsible for providing in-house training and continuing education for her fellow coworkers. Her knowledge and expertise of audit and assurance regulations and governmental standards is an asset to her team at Scheffel Boyle.

Robyn grew up in Carrollton, Illinois and still lives in town with her husband, Travis, and four children. She is very active in the local community and volunteers for numerous organizations throughout the Riverbend, including the St. John’s Booster Club and serving as Co-Chair for over 12 years for the annual St. John’s Auction. She is also a volunteer coach for St. John’s School and the City of Carrollton’s youth league, as well as the local YMCA. Due to her professional accomplishments and local activism, Robyn was even awarded the Carrollton High School Alumnus Award.

Robyn is also a sought-after speaker for audit and assurance topics and has presented at the Greene County Economic Development Center, the County Treasurer’s Conference, and various agricultural training events. In her spare time, her passion is horse racing. She is a member of the Illinois Harness Horse Association and her horse was named the Orange & Blue Champion in 2012, which is the richest Illinois Bred Race in the state. Robyn enjoys the variety of her audit work and the many types of clients she has the opportunity to work with at Scheffel Boyle. She is a valuable member of the firm and never hesitates to assist in firm-wide training initiatives and assisting her fellow staff in audit engagements.
