Josh has been with Scheffel Boyle since 2006 and is a Principal in the firm’s Alton office. His client specialties include audit, assurance, and tax services for construction companies, governmental agencies, and a variety of privately held businesses. As a senior member of the Construction Accounting Team, Josh is responsible for providing both audit and tax services to construction firms ranging in size from 2 to 50 million in annual revenue.
Josh is originally from Freeburg, Illinois and currently lives in Jerseyville with his wife, Jenna, and their son, Beckham. He is an avid sports fan and attends as many St Louis Cardinals and Green Bay Packers games as he can, outside of tax season of course.
In addition to serving his clients, Josh is also extremely active in the local community through numerous organizations, including the Riverbend Growth Association, the North Alton Godfrey Business Council, and the Young Professionals Group of Alton. He is also a regular volunteer for Big Brothers Big Sisters, Race for the Cure, and Habitat for Humanity, among others. Josh is also a “Young Leader’ at Scheffel Boyle and is involved with training and mentoring younger staff within the firm, as well as advising firm leadership on best practice initiatives. He is a valuable member of the Scheffel Boyle team, not only to his clients, but to his peers as well.
